Why I Love Monochrome

Even when it doesn't match, it matches. When you are sticking to a single color scheme, in this example the color is red, there is no doubt that these pieces coordinate. In my closet, when I am grabbing my high quality black clothing, I know that they will go together in an outfit. (We are NOT going to mention what happens to my cheaper black clothing when it gets washed over and over. I know ladies are supposed to like 50 Shades of Grey, but I do NOT like it when it's my clothes!)

Another benefit of monochrome is the cohesiveness you can build with just accessories! When my black shoes match my black bag and black jewelry, it just looks classy. Look at miss girl up there in the red! Black shoes, black accents on her bag, and even black buttons on her coat. It helps everything look put together.

For me, I always gravitated towards wearing black in my wardrobe. However, it can be hard to choose a single color to stick to, and this is where color analysis comes in. I love to wear black, white, and red more than anything else. Lately, I have been including the color of the year, PINK, and there are shades of that as well! When my hair is blonde, however, I get an entirely different color palette that takes black off the table! I would never ever let that come out of my wardrobe.
